Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with his family and friends, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his work," an official with Electronic Arts said.
