The Lakers star knew his incredible streak of reaching double digits was in danger. At the decisive instant, though, it was not his focus.

The correct basketball play meant distributing the basketball – and he executed. Consequently, the legendary streak finished.

LeBron's unprecedented run of over 1,200 straight regular-season outings scoring at least ten concluded during a recent game, as basketball's greatest scorer was limited to eight points in the Lakers' 123-120 win against the Toronto Raptors. He made the game-winning assist, finding Rui Hachimura to knock down a three-point shot to win the game.

James managed to preserve the record in the Phoenix game. One game later, it concluded – but he still rejoiced all the same.
